My name is Samuel Powers, though I am guessing you know that by now considering that the name is the domain name. I am currently 20 years old, turning 21 next year in January. I am currently working as a web and technology consultant for some local companies as a service that I provide and am planning on working to provide services to businesses around the area. While I am currently working with these companies, I am also attending Ancilla College in Donaldson, Indiana.

My major is Business Administration as that’s the area I first want to dig into. I plan to eventually get some technology courses and some certifications under my belt once I have finished or received a good part of my education for my business degree. I will continue providing my consultation services depending on the needs of local businesses as well as businesses providing goods and services over the internet.

I use PCs as my choice as they are very flexible with what can be done and consumers have complete control over what they put on the machines. I am a Windows user for most of my activities with some experience with Linux for server administration and other endeavors. I have some experience with distros including Ubuntu, Puppy Linux (on an old Pentium II I have laying around), and Debian. Debian is my flavor of choice for running web servers. Some people have told me to switch to Gentoo but I haven’t had the time to check it out, I am not too Linux literate.
