It’s been a while since I have updated my blog so I figured the best thing I could do right now was give it a nice update. Since I last posted on here, here’s pretty much everything that has happened.
Windows 7 - Laptop
I installed Windows 7 RC on the laptop to get some more use out of the release candidate and I must admit that everything is running rather nicely. I just recently purchased a Beatmania controller online at Amazon and am going to see how Lunatic Rave runs with the operating system or if I will need Vista to get it to work. Either way, I am able to play Steam games on...

I’ve decided just recently to start planning the construction of a computer from the bottom to the top. I am going to start planning which parts I want to use, the kind of graphics card I want to install, and the operating system I am going to use for it. I figured I would post here on a few of the things I have considered for putting together.
1) Intel Core 2 Quad
2) ATI Radeon (Unknown Card)
3) 4 GB of RAM Minimum
4) 250 GB SATA Minimum
This is a computer I am planning about three or four months down the road, not something that I am going to build right now or anything like that. I am...

I’ve been running the Windows 7 release candidate for a little while now and have installed a few applications, I have noticed that there are a couple of differences between the beta and the release candidate but nothing too big, but the OS itself does seem to be more stable with gaming and graphics as a whole. I just recently installed Valve’s latest FPS creation, Left 4 Dead, which previously did not run well at all on the beta operating system. To my surprise, with a lack of 7 drivers for the graphics card still (due to ATI’s negligence) the game ran just fine aside from running...

For those of you visiting the new DoujinStyle Underground website, I am proud to announce that the activity is really starting to pick up with new visitors every single day and a lot of people becoming interested in contributing to the website in general. I’m hoping to pull in some more hits both for the website and for the DoujinStyle main site if at all possible, the more visitors we get the bigger the community becomes. I’ve even gone as far as to make sure our site appears in a lot of search engines and hopefully Google will pick it up here shortly, I have made sure that our site...

I am starting a project to create a community-wide DoujinStyle News Site. The entire thing is going to be a labor of love and will require members of the community to submit their own articles and sources to make this work but if we get enough people to pull together for it, things could turn out quite well for it.
The concept is to create an information news site with the latest news about touhou and doujin releases, information about older releases, and even information on the community itself. We are wanting to make this project completely open to contributors, meaning that when someone asks...

I’ve had the Windows 7 image on my computer for a little while now but haven’t actually gotten around to installing Windows 7 due to work and other things getting in the way. I’ve decided to go ahead and actually start installing the release candidate on my computer after having had the beta on there for a while before switching back to XP since the timer is set to run out soon. So far, I have burned the image and restarted the computer with the disc in the drive and have gotten to the License Terms screen.
Upon agreeing with the terms of the software, I am greeted with the installation...

There is always a constantly growing and evolving debate on the preferences on which popular or unpopular web browser to use, which version to install, and what features people are looking for when they download their web browsers. It seems that a lot of people have their own preferences, and while Internet Explorer at one time held the reign for being the web browser that people used with Windows since it was there, everything is starting to move into a brand new direction with their browsing. Because of browsers like Firefox, Opera and Chrome, we are wide variety of different browsers out there...
